Hotel Gio - Munich

The room was stylish with great privacy, but the shower needed maintenance.

Large & functional rooms with comfortable beds and good ventilation and balcony...

The hotel was lovely small and placed in a sleek-style building. Well laid out rooms had a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control, and a seating area. Magnificent location near the park, restaurants, and the garden of the restaurant, I felt safe. Btw, it was not too far away from a huge technology museum. Really enjoyed my really good stay at this property and would book again.

It is fairly clean, chic hotel and the staff is excellent. The rooms are newly renovated and functional, and are complete with a balcony, the bedroom, for example. They serve a good choice of meals, the food I tried was fabulous. I would book again thanks to central location.

The restaurant in the hotel is do only positive feedback. The hotel was a disaster, a rip-off and tried to charge us for items we did not purchase. The hotel was very old and shabby, scary at night and the does not deserve to be rated as a 3 star hotel. The parking area is really dirty and uncomfortable, the prices are too high and the room is extremely ugly.

The restaurat is an italian restaurant which has one of the best pizzas and pasta. The restaurant does not deserve to be part of the hotel.

Excellent staff at reception, they speak Russian! All questions were solved quickly and easily! It was very nice to talk to each other.

Room cleaning leaves a lot to be desired.

Clean, tidy, convenient location, staff is very polite. nice and cozy patio, where it is nice to sit and chat with friends.

Room soundproofing - everything can be heard behind the wall in the neighbouring rooms.

Interesting shower, subway station 50 meters, clear.

The best of our stay at the Herzog was the breakfast, although you have to pay extra, but it is worthwhile.

The receptionist was not properly trained in regards to give information to the guest regarding the internet, it would not work in the room only in the lobby and that the user had to open an account.. Additionally she was not trained to purchase sightseeing tours although she charged our credit card in advance. The elevator is so tiny, a couple with luggage does not fit together. The bathroom needs urgent upgrade. The housekeeping lady entered our room unannounced 4 times.

I truly enjoyed warm room in this hotel.

Liked that it was 20 minutes' walk from the train station. We got a well-organised room with a modern bathroom.

Comfortable stay with a few quirks

We spent a night in a cozy double room. Although the bathroom setup required some adjustment, the bed was comfortable enough for a quick stay. For breakfast, skip the hotel offerings. Instead, head to Nuovo Caffe Greco for delicious coffee and vegan treats just around the corner!

The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and with the quiet rooms enabled a lovely nights sleep. The restuarant was excellent offering lovely food at reasonable prices.

I am quite a tall person so found the showers a little small. Other than that the only thing I would add is that some tea and coffee in the room would have been nice!

The staff was very nice and helpful; the room tidy, clean, big and comfortable, had everything i need, including enough light through the big window; 2 minutes walk to the metro station, 10 minutes to the city center

The Internet was working but it was very slow in my room; though the street noises where audible, they where bearable
